The IPL is nearly done and dusted with the group stage games with the final round scheduled to be held this week. What this brings us to is the much awaited and anticipated knockout stage where the likes of Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gujarat, and Punjab are fighting for glory.
Now that the knockout stages are nearly upon us, here is a look at our old prediction on who is the most likely to actually win the title this year.

Mumbai Indians is going to be the obvious favourite here as they have the strongest team on paper. The only doubt was whether they would be able to implement their strategies and practice game awareness.
On that front, Mumbai struggled at the start of the tournament, but managed to pick up the momentum in the subsequent games. Now, they are an absolute ruthless unit that can bring down any team on their own.

The obvious favourite here is going to be Mumbai Indians by country mile.
But we also have Bengaluru, which is firing well this season. Same as the case with the consistent Gujarat Titans, who had made it to the finals in the 2023 and 24 seasons.

Punjab realistically doesn’t stand a chance due to the lack of big game awareness. Until and unless miracle happens, Punjab might find it hard to go all the way for the glory this year.
