MS Dhoni is known for his cricket career, but Captain Cool has also built a business portfolio away from the field.
MS Dhoni has invested in different sectors, including drones, electric mobility, fintech, food, fitness, home interiors and the creator economy.
Some of his well known investments include Garuda Aerospace, EMotorad, Khatabook, CARS24, HomeLane, Rigi, Shaka Harry and Tagda Raho.
Dhoni is also linked with businesses he has helped build. He co-founded 7Ink Brews, which operates under the Copter7 brand, while Seven is another major business associated with him.
His portfolio has continued to grow. In 2025, Dhoni’s family office invested in digital insurance company ACKO. In 2026, he invested in Kuku, an AI driven storytelling platform, and became a brand ambassador for Kuku TV.
Recent reports claimed Dhoni tried to buy a stake in CSK, with discussions reportedly breaking down over the size of the stake.
Reports said Dhoni initially wanted 25 percent, while the franchise’s final offer was reportedly 5.5 percent. Despite, these details come from reports and the talks were reportedly only verbal, with no formal agreement.
Dhoni’s business journey shows that his plans have gone well beyond cricket.
Captain Cool has already invested across several industries. But where will his next big move come from?
