Six-Point Action Plan for Fan Safety
The franchise has introduced a six-point action plan. It includes a fan safety audit framework, yearly training for ground staff, and stronger partnerships with the IPL, KSCA, and stadium authorities.
They also plan to invest in crowd safety research, hoping to prevent similar incidents.
Going Beyond Safety Measures
RCB says the initiative is not just about safety. They also aim to create local jobs, support emerging talent, and honour the memories of the fans who died. Still, with some government approvals pending, fans are unsure how soon they’ll see real change.

The tragic stampede in June exposed major failures. Large crowds were invited via social media without proper permissions. The resulting chaos overwhelmed police and stadium security.
