At an age when most students focus on their Class 10 board exams, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has taken a different path. The 14 year old cricket talent has decided to skip his exams this year. He wants to concentrate fully on training with Rajasthan Royals before the IPL season.

His father, Sanjeev Sooryavanshi, said there was huge hype around the exams. That attention could have distracted him from cricket. He confirmed that Vaibhav will appear for the board exams next year instead.

At present, the young batter is training in Nagpur with Rajasthan Royals players. He is giving complete focus to improving his game. The family believes this is the right time to build his cricket career seriously.

Sanjeev shared that Vaibhav was always strong in academics. He regularly scored above 90 per cent in school. However, his priority has now shifted towards cricket and performing at the highest level.

Vaibhav’s decision follows his brilliant display in the Under 19 World Cup. In the final against England, he smashed 175 off just 80 balls. It became the highest individual score in U19 World Cup history.

Across the tournament, he scored 439 runs at an impressive average of 62.71. He also hit a record 30 sixes. These performances have placed him among the most exciting young talents in Indian cricket.

With such achievements and early exposure to an IPL team, Vaibhav is already being seen as a future star. His bold move has drawn attention across the cricketing world. Now, fans are eager to see how far this decision shapes his journey.
