Dhanush’s next movie as an actor and director, Idly Kadai, is now in the final stages of shooting. Initially, the team officially announced that the movie would be released on April 10th.
At the same time, Ajith Kumar’s highly anticipated movie Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, was also officially confirmed for release on April 10th.

Kollywood audiences expected a blockbuster clash between both movies on April 10th, but now it seems Idly Kadai is most likely getting postponed.
According to reports, Idly Kadai is being pushed to a new date, paving the way for Good Bad Ugly to have a solo release, as Dhanush is reportedly in talks to direct a film starring Ajith Kumar.

On the other hand, some trade experts believe Idly Kadai’s postponement is almost certain, not due to Ajith’s film but because Dhanush wants to release solo after Dragon seamlessly crushed NEEK at the box office. They also dismiss the speculation about Dhanush and Ajith Kumar’s collaboration as a baseless rumor.
However, there are no official updates on the postponement yet. We have to wait and see whether Idly Kadai gets postponed or clashes with Good Bad Ugly on April 10th.
