Dhanush’s pan-Indian movie Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on June 20th.
Yesterday, the audio launch function for this movie took place in Chennai, during which Dhanush’s speech has now gone viral across social media.
Dhanush during his speech in the Kuberaa audio launch opened up that, “You can’t just spread rumors about me and think you can destroy me. You won’t even be able to dislodge a single brick, and I have my fans as my pillars.”
Following this, some netizens on social media started to respond that Dhanush had indirectly attacked Nayanthara, who has always crossed Dhanush’s path by sharing unwanted comments during his movie releases.
At the same time, some people predicted that Dhanush was referring to singer Suchithra and some fake PRs who always spread baseless rumors about Dhanush during his movie releases.
However, Dhanush did not mention any names, and netizens are predicting that it could be either Nayanthara or Suchithra and these are all baseless social media speculations raised by his statement.
Nevertheless, Kuberaa has decent pre-release buzz, and Dhanush’s fiery speech at the audio launch function ignited the buzz for the movie.
It remains to be seen whether Kuberaa satisfies the expectations of the audiences and emerges as a blockbuster success upon its release on June 20th.
