Forget My Past Films: Young Actor’s Statement Viral

Dhruv Vikram promotes Bison movie

Dhruv Vikram’s comment about his upcoming film Bison has sparked debate online. The actor, son of Vikram, is returning to the big screen under Mari Selvaraj’s direction. The film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on October 17.

With the release approaching, the Bison team is actively promoting the film through events and YouTube interviews. During one such event, Dhruv introduced himself and said, “My name is Dhruv. I have done two films so far, and it’s fine if you haven’t watched them, but everyone should watch Bison. It’s my actual first film.”

He added that Mari Selvaraj has given his best and encouraged everyone to watch Bison with family, friends, or partners. This clip quickly went viral across social media, drawing mixed reactions from viewers.

Many Trollers accused Dhruv of disrespecting the directors of his earlier films by implying that those projects didn’t matter. They noted that while his remake of Arjun Reddy didn’t work, his performance in Mahaan earned appreciation. Some felt his words unintentionally dismissed the efforts of Karthik Subbaraj while praising Mari Selvaraj.

Others, however, believe Dhruv was expressing pride and confidence in his latest project rather than belittling his past work. Despite the backlash, the video continues to gain traction online, keeping Bison in the spotlight ahead of its release.
