The ED performed a raid a few weeks ago against popular budding Kollywood producer Aakash Baskaran, following which there was strong buzz that Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi, Dhanush’s Idly Kadai, and Silambarasan TR’s STR 49 were in financial trouble.
In this scenario, yesterday, a strong rumor spread on social media that Silambarasan TR and Mani Ratnam are going to join hands for a romantic drama immediately after the release of Thug Life.
At the same time, earlier buzz suggested that Sivakarthikeyan is joining hands with Good Night movie-famed director Vinayak Chandrasekaran for a project that is going to start after Parasakthi.
However, now there is strong speculation that the shooting of this movie is going to start immediately in July after Sivakarthikeyan completes the patchwork of Madharasi.
Following these updates, some trade experts on social media commented that, due to the ED raid against producer Aakash Baskaran, the Dawn Pictures projects are almost shelved, which is why Silambarasan TR and Sivakarthikeyan are planning their alternatives.
However, there haven’t been any official announcements regarding these upcoming collaborations yet.
It remains to be seen whether these two Silambarasan TR and Sivakarthikeyan projects kick off immediately and how both will take shape in the future.
