Popular Comedian Suicide Case: Unbelievable Twist

Chandrashekar Siddi, a popular Kannada television comedian from “Comedy Khiladigalu” Season 3, tragically died by suicide on July 31. He was only 28 years old and came from Chimanalli village in Vajralli Gram Panchayat of Yallapur Taluka.

Siddu ended his life by setting himself on fire near Katiga village in Yallapur Taluka. Police revealed he had been under severe mental stress for several months. Despite gaining fame for his comic timing, he was struggling financially.

His family shared that Siddu recently started working as a daily wage labourer to support himself. He trained at the prestigious NISAM Theatre Institute and was passionate about acting. After his initial success, he acted in multiple TV serials.

Siddu first became widely known in 2020 through “Comedy Khiladigalu.” Early reports suggested mental health issues led to his death. However, investigations by Yallapur Rural Police uncovered a disturbing fact.

Siddu was physically abused by his wife during an argument. She beat him with a broomstick and a stick, which added to his emotional pain. This abuse is believed to have played a major role in his decision to take his own life.

A video of the assault went viral, shocking fans and netizens. Many condemned the violence and expressed outrage over the abuse. Police confirmed that the physical and emotional abuse was a significant factor in Siddu’s tragic death.

The Kannada film industry mourns the loss of such a talented actor. Many celebrities and colleagues have offered condolences and prayers for his soul. This heartbreaking event highlights the urgent need to raise awareness about domestic violence and improve support systems for victims.
