Kuberaa — Blindly Going with the Flow?

Pan-Indian movie Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles and directed by Sekhar Kammula, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on June 20th.

According to recent reports, the Kuberaa team is planning to conduct a pre-release event in Mumbai, with Dhanush and Nagarjuna slated to participate.

Recently, the audio launch function for Kuberaa took place in Chennai. Even though it generated significant buzz among the Tamil audience, it failed to reach Telugu audiences, who reportedly had no knowledge of the event.

The speeches from the stars at the event also didn’t reach the Telugu audience. This indicates that the team is failing to create a pan-Indian buzz through their events, despite planning to release Kuberaa as a pan-Indian movie.

In this scenario, the Kuberaa team’s plan for a grand release event in Mumbai is also being viewed as poor execution.

According to trade experts, they haven’t yet realized the shortcomings in their promotion strategy, as they are concentrating only on regional promotions and failing to create hype among all linguistic audiences.

However, Dhanush fans have pointed out that during the Chennai audio launch, Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula stated that the movie had turned out very well and expressed strong confidence in the output.

Despite having a solid movie, a lack of comprehensive promotion could hinder the overall success of the film. Therefore, the Kuberaa team should focus more on promotions and generate buzz among all linguistic audiences.
