However, she noted that because Yash called her, that was enough reason for her to attend Toxic’s trailer launch event.

Consequently, they started criticizing the actress for being so one-sided, claiming that this act clearly shows her hypocrisy.
In this scenario, suddenly many Kollywood insiders on social media have now started sharing a theory about the reason behind Nayanthara’s appearance at the Toxic trailer launch event.
According to the theory, when Nayanthara was initially contacted by the makers of Toxic to attend the trailer launch event, Nayanthara’s manager reportedly conveyed to them that she wouldn’t attend any promotional events. After hearing this news, Yash immediately contacted Nayanthara and requested her to join the event.
Nayanthara informed Yash that attending the event was not a problem at all, but she was busy shooting for a Salman Khan project, where all her scenes were combination scenes with Salman. Hence, if she left to attend the promotions, the shoot could potentially be cancelled.
Upon knowing this, Yash contacted Salman Khan and explained the situation. After hearing it, Salman Khan reportedly responded that a heroine’s appearance at a promotional event is more important and said that even if his shoot had to be cancelled, he would let her attend the Toxic promotions.
Subsequently, Nayanthara came from the shooting spot to Bengaluru and after attending the event, immediately took a flight back to Mumbai to resume shooting.

They claim it seems like Nayanthara’s PR team was asked to spread this news to control the criticism and backlash the actress is currently facing on social media.
