The Malayalam movie Premalu, starring Naslen and Mamitha Baiju and directed by Girish A. D, was a blockbuster success upon its release last year and a few months ago, the makers announced a sequel for this project is going to happen soon.
However, now there is strong speculation that Premalu 2 has been shelved due to creative differences between the director and actor, with Naslen reportedly not satisfied with Girish A. D’s story.

Additionally, there is also information circulating that Girish A. D has already started pre-production works for his next project with Nivin Pauly. This has led to speculation that Premalu 2 might be postponed to next year or even dropped entirely.
