Filmmaker Shankar Shanmugam was all praises for ‘Dragon’ on social media. But his positive reviews seems to have gone astray and triggered a lot of Ram Charan fans.
Shankar appreciated the movie and the message that it delivered, and he went on to say, “In a world with increasing number of cheats it’s a much needed message!” Netizens took it to be a cryptic message targeted against Ram Charan and started trolling Shankar.

Some of the fans say Shankar cheated both producers and audiences with his latest movie Game Changer and it is he himself who is the cheat.
While there are others who simply call him out for his outdated style and irrelevance and say that if he does not adapt to the current trend People will no longer pay any heed to him.

Shankar could have chosen his words with a bit more care. Game Changer has triggered a lot of Ram Charan fans because after RRR the actor’s potential seems to be wasted by Shankar.
While Dragon deserves all the praise indeed, Shankar made a mistake in letting people think he is calling his own hero a ‘cheat’.
