Following the success of Lucky Bhaskar, Dulquer Salmaan is currently acting as the lead in Kaantha, directed by Selvamani Selvaraj. Now, there is strong speculation that the Kaantha team is planning to release the movie on September 5th.
A few months ago, Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharasi team had already locked the September 5th date for its release. Now, rumors suggest that Dulquer Salmaan’s Kaantha and Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharasi will potentially have a clash on September 5th.

Last year, during Diwali, Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran and Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Bhaskar clashed in theatres. Even though both movies received positive responses, Amaran outperformed Lucky Bhaskar in box office collections in both Telugu states and Tamil Nadu.
The same heroes are clashing again, but this time, it seems like Dulquer Salmaan’s Kaantha has a slight edge in the clash with Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharasi.

This is because Madharasi was directed by A.R. Murugadoss, and his last movie, Sikandar, was a terrible disaster. Hence, Madharasi so far doesn’t have much hype among audiences.
However, the Kaantha team still hasn’t officially announced its release date. It remains to be seen whether Madharasi and Kaantha will clash on September 5th and which movie will win the clash upon its release.
