By considering the overall budget and the theatrical collection, Lyca Productions may acquire a total of 80 crores in hands after the theatrical run, by reducing the tax percentage by 20% and the theatre owners’ share.

Theatrical run-wise Vettaiyan is a disaster, but by selling the other satellite, OTT, and audio rights. Production may have acquired the breakeven, which is also not a good thing as there isn’t any profit for them.
