Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s Barroz movie was released in theatres yesterday as a Christmas special and has received negative responses from the audiences.
Barroz is a fantasy thriller, written and directed by Mohanlal himself. Although the visuals in the movie were stunning, the movie felt flat, say the audiences after watching it in theatres.

This year has been a bad year for Mohanlal, say his fans on social media, as two of his movies were released: one is Malaikottai Vaaliban, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, and the other is the recently released Barroz.
Both movies had huge expectations among the audiences before their release but ended up as failures.

However, he will bounce back next year, as he has two promising films awaiting release: Thudarum, directed by critically acclaimed Tharun Moorthy, and the sequel to his blockbuster movie Lucifer, which is L2: Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, say his fans on social media.
Both movies have huge potential to become blockbuster successes, and let’s see whether Mohanlal gives a massive comeback with these two anticipated films next year.
