Apple is known for coming up with features for their users that their competitors like Windows and Android have provided for a long time. Be it the inclusion of a TYPE-C port, a high refresh rate display, or the simple addition of widgets. They might not always be the first ones to do it but when they do, they do it right.
But this time even Apple is adapting quickly to the wave of Artificial Intelligence and the next update of IOS 18 will heavily rely on AI. The promotion of IOS 18 and the leaks so far suggest that AI will be one of the key features of this software update.
From texts to photos, every basic aspect of using an iPhone might be enhanced with AI in this update, even emojis. The caricatures often used to express how we feel while texting, can now be enhanced and even customised.
How the user is feeling and how they want to express will be easily conveyed through adaptive AI creating new emojis according to the needs. These features will be available in the IOS 18, currently a work in development under the name of “Project Greymatter”. These AI features will be able to function independently without an internet connection.
