In a shocking incident, a native of Hyderabad, Rayees Ud-din, 65, was killed in a brutal stabbing incident in London. The Old City resident was stabbed to death at Hill Top Mount, Leeds, West Yorkshire, London, United Kingdom.
Along with this Hyderabad native, a native of Afghanistan was also killed in the incident which was a result of a confrontation with a Uganda man.
Rayees Uddin has been staying in London since 2011 and is survived by a wife, daughter, and a son. He was preparing to come to India for his daughter’s marriage which is scheduled to be held on the 5th Oct 2023.
He died on the spot following the incident and his mortal returns were sent to his residence in India.
The family was preparing for the marriage celebrations in Hyderabad, but they are dealt with shockingly tragic news with the murder of Rayees.
Two people involved with the incident were arrested and a police investigation is underway now.
