It has been reported that Joe Biden has contracted covid and would go in isolation. The test results conducted on Wednesday confirms that he tested positive for covid-19.
On the same day, Biden was delivering speeches in Las Vegas, nevada. The news has been shared by the White House and it is informed that he will be returning back to Delaware where he will go in isolation. Biden is experiencing mild symptoms like a runny nose.
Biden has been double vaccinated and has also taken the booster dose but still the president contracted the virus. This is likely to put more pressure on him as he is going to miss a number of speeches and rallies scheduled for him.
It also gives the opposition an opportunity to attack him on his deteriorating health. Biden’s age has been a huge issue this election and there have been calls within the democrats as well to ask him to step down from the race. This gives them another opportunity to make their point louder.
