Nandamuri Balakrishna’s blockbuster movie ‘Daaku Maharaj’ is now streaming on Netflix and it is getting massive response there as well. But OTT Fans are urging the platform to change the dubbed voice for the lead actor, as it completely ruins the overall vibe.
Balakrishna speaks good Hindi and fans are used to his voice. Audiences expected that the Hindi version on Netflix will have his voice only. But for some reason it was not used in the Hindi version and his voice was dubbed too.

Quite strangely, the Hindi trailer that came out a month ago had Balakrishna’s original voice. It does not make any sense that Netflix would change the voice that audiences heard even in the theaters. Maybe they thought the actor’s Hindi was not up to the mark, but fans do not want the dub now.
People on social media are not very happy about it. They want the same voice that they heard in theaters and otherwise it seems the total OTT experience is ruined for them.

Fans are demanding the original audio voice from Balakrishna to be restored again. And Netflix will have to consider something to satisfy the fans.
Many believe that a poorly dubbed voice can take away the essence of the film, especially when it comes to mass entertainers like ‘Daaku Maharaj.’ A significant part of Balakrishna’s on-screen impact comes from his powerful dialogue delivery, and the Netflix Hindi dubbing has failed to capture that energy.

The issue of bad Hindi dubbing on Netflix is not new, as several South Indian films have faced similar complaints in the past. Fans now expect streaming platforms to put more effort into ensuring the original feel of the movie is retained.
For now, it remains to be seen if Netflix will address the backlash and consider updating the Hindi version with Balakrishna’s original voice. If not, it could affect the overall streaming numbers and audience satisfaction.
