In the beginning of 2024, his movie Captain Miller was released, and it didn’t meet expectations and also didn’t perform well at the box office. But he has a bunch of exciting line-ups, which can even make him enter the Tier-1 actor list in Kollywood.
He is currently waiting for the release of his 50th movie, Raayan, which was directed by himself and planned to release on July 26th, which is 2 days before his birthday. Raayan has a huge expectation among the audiences as the music of this movie was composed by AR Rahman and for its stellar cast, such as Sj Suryah, Dhusara Vijayan, Sundeep Kishan, and many others.
Parallelly, he almost completed the shooting of his next pan-India movie, Kubera, directed by the award-winning Shekhar Kammula. In the meantime, he also directed a youthful love story, Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, with Priya Prakash Varrier, Anikha Surendaran, and many others. The music for this film was composed by GV Prakash Kumar, and the film is planned to be released by the end of this year.
