After its merger, JioHotstar adopted a different approach, showing cumulative views, similar to platforms like YouTube and JioCinema.
This means the view count keeps increasing over time instead of reflecting real-time viewership.

Unlike Disney+ Hotstar’s old method of showing current viewers, the new JioHotstar format displays cumulative views, which is a different metric altogether.
