Emergency is getting rave reviews on Netflix and the movie is gathering a huge number of views after the OTT release. Considering the hype of the movie, netizens are accusing Netflix India of being biased against certain titles because it did not promote Emergency much.
Emergency was not given a solo OTT release but clashed with Azaad. As per fans, Netflix did not give much importance to the movie but the OTT success has proved the platform wrong. But there is more to it than meets the eye.

It will be wrong to assume that Netflix is biased against certain titles just from this instance. Emergency is a licensed title and Netflix India does not do much promotions for them. Comparing it to films like Naadaniyan will not be fair because Naadaniyan is an original production of the platform, however bad that might be.
Also Netflix dared to acquire the rights for Emergency even after its controversies and the disastrous theater run and no other platforms looked interested. So accusing them for a bias will be very unfair on the part of the fans.
