Series like the Boys have a very thin line between hero and villain, and fans hope that the creators should do whatever it takes to keep the show watchable.
And no one understands this better than Eric Kripke, the showrunner of The Boys, who has offered exciting new approaches to how television treats superheroes, as it satirises myth making.
The Boys were mainly comics which criticised the good old superhero approach one has kept in mind. But, this new take in superhero, where he took some very welcome DC superheros and satirised it.
In an interview in 2020 Eric said that there will be a total of 5 seasons but he didn’t make any statement about it.
“I have learned since then to not try to call the seasons as the person who, and this is without hyperbole, is literally the most wrong in entertainment history of how many seasons their show should go,” Eric Said.
So this is a topic of serious discussion and a concern for fans whether Boys will be back after their 5th season or not, but for the time being we still got good seasons on the way, where the storyline is going to a large turn.
Because, Homelander will be back with his son.
