The Tamil movie ‘Tourist Family’ has become highly hyped and has gathered huge praise by now. It is a relatively small film and its working out so well is really a wonder.
Made with a budget of fourteen crores, Tourist Family has made almost seventy crores at the box office. It was also screened in Superscreen in the United Kingdom which is a first for a small budget Tamil film.
But ‘Tourist Family’ was not released theatrically with a Hindi audio because it was unlikely that people would want to watch a small movie like this in theaters in North India.
But now that the movie has gotten so big, people want to watch it and that too a Hindi dub. People are urging the makers to make sure it releases in Hindi on OTT. The huge theatrical success has sparked anticipation for the Hindi version of the movie on OTT and once released it will probably receive good views too.
Not releasing the movie in more audios will be a bad decision and the makers should not take that risk. Whatever language people might speak in, they should be able to experience the heartwarming Tamil drama in the language of their comfort.
