Jio Hotstar is streaming IPL in India with some regular trolling and criticisms but fans are urging the platform to acquire the rights to more tournaments in spite of the many streaming issues.
There are many football fans in India yet the foreign football tournaments seem to be neglected by the Indian streaming platforms. Previously Jio Cinema had bought the rights to all five big tournaments and also Champion’s League.

But this season no one is streaming La Liga, Serie A and League 1. People have had problems keeping track with the UEFA Champions’ League and La Liga scores too. There is no other joy like watching a live match of your favourite team, but football matches seem to be extremely neglected by the OTTs.
Jio Hotstar will be more profitable in taking the rights of all these tournaments together and it will increase the engagement with sports fans with a giant number.

It will indeed be a win win for both parties because fans will get to watch all the matches in a singular platform and would not have to resort to piracy to watch the matches.
