Directed by Gopichand Malineni, “Jaat” is an action packed movie filled with adrenaline rush and senior Bollywood actor Sunny Deol in the leading role, alongside Randeep Hooda, and Vineet Kumar Singh.
Even after having such a good cast, the ambitious premiere of “Jaat” on Netflix, which is today on 5th June 2025, failed to impress the audience, and the major reason for the failure is the sound mixing issue which is too hard to ignore.
If we pay close attention, the audio in “Jaat” is not just flawed, it is disturbing the dialogues as well. What could have been a high action thriller with dopamine rush, is ruined by inconsistent audio levels, cracked up background score, and in many cases the music is overpowering the dialogues mostly in emotional or serious scenes where the audience couldn’t even understand what the characters are trying to say.
The more disappointing part about “Jaat” is when it got its theatrical release the music had texture, intensity which was a good blend with the mood of the movie, but in its digital release the sound mix seemed very rushed and not properly done, losing the cinematic richness in translation.
The funny part is the movie had the dialogue “Sorry Bol” several times but it seems that the movie itself have to say sorry now to the audience.
Sound mixing in #Jaat on @NetflixIndia is atrocious. Too much of crankiness.
Movie Meh ! We should be the one asking “Sorry Bol” to the makers ♂️.#JaatOnNetflix https://t.co/JMjMLnUZPN
