Ever since Twinkle Khanna and Kajol’s show Two Much began streaming, it has been under constant discussion. Most conversations revolve around the hosts’ behaviour, which often draws sharp criticism.
In a recent episode, Janhvi Kapoor and Karan Johar joined as guests. As usual, the group played a few entertaining games with the hosts. One segment, “This or That,” asked whether emotional infidelity is worse than physical infidelity.
Twinkle, Kajol, and Karan agreed that physical infidelity was fine, but Janhvi firmly disagreed. She said both are equally wrong and called physical infidelity a complete deal-breaker.
Twinkle responded that she, Kajol, and Karan are in their 50s, while Janhvi is younger and “will get into the circle” someday. She added, “Raag gayi, baat gayi,” suggesting such things are soon forgotten.
Despite the hosts trying to justify their views, Janhvi stood her ground. She calmly repeated that cheating, in any form, is unacceptable.
The clip went viral online, sparking heated discussions. Many viewers called out the hosts for being dismissive, especially since two of them are married.
Trollers slammed Twinkle, Kajol, and Karan for normalising infidelity but praised Janhvi for standing up for what she believes in.
Viewers admired how Janhvi, just 28, appeared more mature and self-aware than the senior celebrities across from her. Many said they respected her honesty more than her acting.
The debate itself is complex. Everyone sees infidelity differently some value emotional connection, others physical intimacy. Still, cheating remains wrong in any form. What surprised people most was how openly some in the industry, known for calling themselves “woke” and “progressive,” justified infidelity.
