
Reliance Jio has finally announced its JioHotstar OTT service as a part of its recent merger with Hotstar.
The company has made the website live and also rebranded the app across all the platforms, including Android, iOS, iPadOS and smart TVs.

While they have announced the subscription plans for JioHotstar, only certain users are getting the subscription complimentary.
Some users are getting the JioHotstar subscription complimentary at no additional charges provided they meet certain criteria.

Users who have an active subscription to Disney+ Hotstar will get the JioHotstar subscription.
The important thing to note here is that the subscription from the previous service will be carried over. So, if your existing plan has 10 days left, then it will work with JioHotstar for 10 days. And, this applies to all the Disney+ Hotstar plans.

Similar to Disney+ Hotstar, if you happen to have a monthly or annual subscription for JioCinema, then it will also get transferred to JioHotstar and will continue to work for the remaining days.
If you have an active subscription plan as per your mobile or broadband connection, then it will be valid for JioHotstar as well.
This means that existing JioCinema subscribers can now enjoy Disney+ Hotstar content at no extra cost, and vice versa, at least until their current plan expires. After that, users will need to refer to JioHotstar’s updated pricing policy for continued access.
