Users of Jio Hotstar have requested the platform to bring a new feature for the platform. The general subtitle size is too small for some and they need bigger ones now.
They now want options for changing subtitle sizes and customisable streaming options. Platforms like Prime Video already have the options for changing the size and colour of subtitles from the settings. Netflix has that option too.

Jio Hotstar is trying to create a monopoly in Indian OTT business and has not created a good image until now. There is a huge outrage on social media regarding the incessant ads and sports streaming glitches.
And the platform will have to take care of what people want and need if they want to compete with platforms like Prime Video and Netflix.

It is 2025 and people want to customise their streaming experience on every OTT platform. Channels that will provide them will get more goodwill and the user base will be more satisfied. Jio Hotstar will have to learn these form platforms like Prime Video.
There has to be a separate department on their social media that will look for these demands and complaints and act accordingly. It will improve the streaming experience for users greatly and will be a win-win for both.
