The film follows his journey as he navigates unexpected challenges after returning to duty post-suspension. Sudeep delivers a power-packed performance which intense and charming.
His screen presence is magnetic, making Max a decent watch, especially for action lovers.
Fans compare the film’s narrative to the 2019 film Kaithi because of its gripping first half filled with suspense and action.
However, many viewers felt that the second half lost momentum, affecting the overall impact.
Despite its flaws, Max has found success on OTT, where even a moderately entertaining film can attract a large viewership.
While Zee5 is reaping the benefits of the film’s massive engagement, it seems like Netflix and Prime are losing out.
A wider release on these platforms could have also given Max and Sudeep a much greater reach.
Regardless, with such impressive numbers in just a few days, Max has undoubtedly made its mark in the OTT space and reaffirmed Sudeep’s star power.
