Vikrant Massey has been on a roll in 2024 with films like ‘Sector 36’ and ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ making him a big name in Bollywood as well as Indian cinema.
These two films alone garnered a total viewership of over 22.2 Million on Netflix, cementing Massey’s position as 2024’s most-viewed Bollywood actor on Netflix.
He was overtaken by Vijay Sethupathi in the race for 2024’s ‘Most Viewed Indian Actor’ by a mere margin of 0.2 million views, owing to the successes of Sethupathi’s ‘Maharaja’ and ‘Merry Christmas’ on Netflix.
Vijay Sethupathi was widely praised for his performances in both films, giving him a well-deserved spot as the most viewed Indian actor right at the top.
Massey’s ‘Sector 36’ turned out to be a major success for him, garnering 12.1 million views. While people liked his performance in the film, some argued that the film could have delved much deeper into the killer’s psyche, thus opening the door to his broken mind.
‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ also got its fair share of praise, amassing a total view count of 10.1 million, thus securing the 14th spot on Netflix. While the overall reviews were highly positive, some criticized the film for getting too complex in the 2nd half.
With 2024 being a good year for both actors, the fans are excited to see more masterpieces from both in 2025.
