After “Stree,” “Roohi,” and “Bhediya,” Dinesh Vijan productions returns with another horror-comedy that promises to both entertain and frighten audiences. His new movie, titled “Munjya,” presents a quirky idea with a horror twist, reminiscent of the spooky tales we loved as children.
The trailer opens with an eerie background noise, instantly creating a sense of foreboding. The story revolves around Munjya, who wanted to marry Munni but died before fulfilling his last wish. This unfulfilled desire sets the stage for a horror plot, as Munjya transforms into a strange, Gollum-like creature, desperately seeking to marry Munni.
In the trailer, Munjya appears as a ghost that constantly perches on Abhay Verma’s shoulder, searching for his beloved Munni. Notably, Munjya is the first fully CGI character in Indian cinema. The CGI scenes look impressive, indicating significant effort in the movie’s production.
Starring Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma, and Mona Singh in the lead roles, the movie has generated excitement among audiences. “Munjya” is set to release in theaters on June 7th.
