Naadaniyan has been criticised negatively both by critics and audiences and has been called one of the worst films to ever come out in Hindi. But now surprisingly it is trending at no. 1 on Netflix India.
There have been many questions regarding the credibility of these lists and fake promotional strategies by platforms before. But Netflix is the only one platform that people fully trust in.

Netflix India has built this trust with so many years of wonderful service. But when a film like Naadaniyan is credited to be trending at no. 1 position, fans begin to suspect the trending list.
Despite the harsh criticism and trolling, there is indeed a huge audience actually watching the movie, even with the purpose of trolling.

So it is not very fair to already start suspecting the Netflix list. People think the movie does not deserve to be in the trending position and that is mainly the reason behind the suspicion.
However, it does indeed bring the quality of the content from the platform into question. If a film like Naadaniyan is trending at no. 1, it is not very good news for Netflix and its users.
