Daaku Maharaaj Salaar Netflix Views

Nandamuri Balakrishna scored another success with Daaku Maharaaj. After Akhanda, Veera Simha Reddy, and Bhagavanth Kesari, this Sankranti release made nearly 100 crores in box office collections, according to producers. Now, it’s taking over Netflix as well.

For two consecutive weeks, Daaku Maharaaj has been trending at No.1 on Netflix India. More significantly, the film is among the top trending titles in over 10 countries.

Netflix First-Week Views:

Daaku Maharaaj – 2.4M views (5.7M hours watched)
Salaar – 1.6M views (4.7M hours watched)

One key factor to note is that Daaku Maharaaj is available on Netflix across all languages, whereas Salaar’s Hindi version is streaming separately on Disney+Hotstar. This could be a reason why Salaar is behind Daaku Maharaaj in Netflix rankings.

Netflix has officially confirmed that Daaku Maharaaj has reached 2.4 million views and accumulated over 5.7 million hours of watch time. Typically, only Bollywood films achieve such rare milestones.

While Prabhas’ films have previously seen such high streaming numbers, this is a first for a senior Tollywood star, making Balakrishna’s OTT success even more noteworthy.

Directed by Bobby, Daaku Maharaaj has benefited greatly from Thaman’s BGM. The trolling of Dabidi Dibidi song also created an awareness about the film on pan-India level which helped the views on Netflix.

Even the makers are surprised at the film’s unexpected success on OTT.
