Dhanush’s 3rd directorial venture, Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), starring fresh talents such as Pavish and Anikha Surender in the lead roles, was released in theatres on February 21st and has received mixed responses from audiences.
Now, there is a strong buzz that NEEK is going to be released on the Amazon Prime OTT platform on March 21st with a 4-week OTT window.

Despite Dhanush’s interesting screenplay, Pavish’s amateur acting is the major reason for the average response to the movie, said some Kollywood audiences after watching it in theatres.
However, despite mixed responses, NEEK is performing decently in box office collections in A centres, whereas the movie has already been a washout in B and C centres.

Dhanush has tried to deliver a feel-good rom-com like Premalu, but the movie isn’t able to connect with audiences due to minor lags and the poor acting of the lead actor, say the critics.
NEEK is a decent entertainer and has the potential to become a super hit among OTT audiences, as rom-com movies have always had a huge reception on streaming platforms.
