In a recent interview, the actress who played Bibbojaan on the show opened up about how the director made her stay hungry before the more powerful scenes in the show.
Bhansali thought Aditi’s movements were very gentle and gracious. Even the scenes with raw emotions seemed gentle. To help the actress with it, he thought that keeping her hungry would help her portray those challenging emotions better.

Aditi went on to add how Bhansali would also pull her leg for being soft in a lot of challenging scenes. He used to say how Aditi would deliver a rousing scene with the delicateness of a shringar scene.
The show had high expectations, it even proved to be a big hit on Netflix, but the story fell short. It casts a wonderful ensemble of renowned actors like Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman and more.
There are talks about another season for the show but there isn’t much revealed about that.
