The Delhi Police has been issued a notice by a Delhi Court due to failure to take any action against Ekta Kapoor’s infamous streaming platform ‘ALTBalaji’.
The complaint was made earlier by a former RTI Commissioner, but no substantial action was taken by the police.

This led to a lawyer filing a petition against the Delhi Police, subsequently leading to this notice.
This is not the first time Ekta Kapoor has found herself under murky waters. ALTBalaji has been long and justly criticized for making and promoting vulgar content, exploiting the loopholes and lack of proper censorship in the OTT realm to their full advantage.
