“Panchayat” started with Jitendra Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi, who is appointed as the Sachiv (secretary) of Phulera village. The show dealt with the various daily life struggles he faces while adjusting to his new lifestyle. The episodes were pure fun, and the realistic portrayal of the characters made it one of the most viewed shows on Amazon Prime.
In the new trailer for season 3, we see that Sachiv Abhishek’s transfer order has been canceled, and the story now tilts towards the village’s politics. The rift between Prahlad and Pradhan ji has widened, and they are now targeting each other in the upcoming election.
