After a hit run of the first season of the Netflix series Rana Naidu starring South Indian icon Rana Daggubati it has returned with another season that is coming out on 13 June. This time the star cast has expanded magnanimously with the likes of Venkatesh, Arjun Rampal, Suchitra Pillai, Surveen Chawla, Abhishek Banerjee, and Gaurav Chopra amongst others.
The trailer opens up with Rana’s claim that he wants to quit the underworld but the more he tries the more he seems to be drowning in the underworld. The action is more hands-on than the last season and the background music conveys the intensity this season is going to bring.
The biggest surprise comes with the entry of Venkatesh as Rana’s father and he seems to be challenging him more than supporting him. The makers seem dedicated to show Rana Naidu’s family is not a normal one and likes to keep the drama turned on.
While Rana seems to level up his performance from the last season, Arjun Rampal’s antagonist appears very promising and Abhishek Banerjee brings an intense neurotic villain. The show has peaked the excitement of the fans online and they can’t wait for its release in the coming week.
