The first OTT reviews are in, as fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts on the film.

One user pointed out that the Malayalam film industry has produced too many films in the crime mystery genre.

Especially with a film like Kishkindha Kaandam which impressed viewers highly, others stand a tough chance at competing.

For a film to stand out in this crowded space, it must deliver something extraordinary- something Rekhachithram fails to do.

However, with its gripping screenplay and stunning visuals, it makes for a decent watch.

The characters are well-developed, and the background music adds depth to the narrative. Despite being a slow burn, the film successfully holds viewers’ attention, leading to a great climax.

Directed by Jofin T. Chacko, Rekhachithram is a solid watch, though its blockbuster theatrical success may have led to overhyped expectations.

However, for those who enjoy slow-burn thriller dramas or are accustomed to Malayalam-style storytelling, Rekhachithram might just be the film you’re looking for.
