While Salman Khan will return with another season of India’s most talked about reality show, Anil Kapoor will introduce audiences to a new quiz based reality format with India Ke Top 1%.

The show is an Indian adaptation of a successful international format that has already impressed viewers in countries like the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Greece, Australia, Israel, Turkey, Ukraine, Mexico and the USA.

Instead of testing only knowledge, the show focuses on observation, logic, lateral thinking and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

The format challenges contestants to think differently and use their presence of mind to solve unique problems.

India Ke Top 1% will premiere on September 5, making it one of the biggest reality show launches of the month.

Just a day later, Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 20 will begin airing from September 6.

With both shows arriving back to back, viewers will get to see two Bollywood icons dominating television screens as reality show hosts.

Anil Kapoor has previously appeared on television with the series 24 and also hosted Bigg Boss OTT Season 3.

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss remains Salman Khan’s annual television commitment, with the superstar returning once again to guide contestants through the high pressure reality show.

Salman Khan will also be managing his film commitments alongside Bigg Boss 20.

The actor is currently set to work on his upcoming movie with director Vamsi Paidipally, which also stars Nayanthara.

India Ke Top 1% will air on Star Plus and stream on JioHotstar, while Bigg Boss 20 will continue the franchise’s long running legacy with Salman Khan as the host.

With two major stars, two different formats and back to back premieres, September is expected to become a big month for reality television audiences in India.
