Salman Mocks Muruga: Madharaasi Worse Than Sikandar

Salman Khan on Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar

Salman Khan didn’t hold back in this week’s Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar episode. The actor once again took jabs at some of his former directors while discussing films he now regrets doing.

It began when comedian Ravi Gupta joined him on stage and asked about movies Salman wished he hadn’t signed. Referring to his recent release Sikandar, Salman said the story had potential but subtly mocked director AR Murugadoss for his remarks about Salman’s late arrivals on set.

Salman khan explained that he was injured with a broken rib during Sikandar’s shoot. He added that Murugadoss complained he arrived by 9 PM, but then went on to direct a film where actors reported at 6 AM.

Taking a sarcastic swipe, Salman laughed and mentioned Murugadoss’s latest film Madharaasi, saying it turned out to be a “blockbuster.” He implied that Madharaasi performed even worse than Sikandar.

Salman also said both Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss distanced themselves from Sikandar before its release. He then shifted his attention to Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap, recalling how the filmmaker often drags his name, as well as Aamir Khan’s and Shah Rukh Khan’s, into controversies.

In his trademark sarcastic tone, Salman questioned whether Abhinav had found any work after those remarks, suggesting the director had ruined his own career. While he praised Abhinav’s writing talent, Salman said it pains him to see the filmmaker “destroy himself” by repeatedly speaking against his family.

Salman wrapped up with a comment that sounded like a voice-over: no one should drag families into personal issues and should focus on their own work instead.

Through his pointed remarks, Salman Khan made it clear that he’s done staying silent about the filmmakers who, in his view, twisted facts around his name. Now, it remains to be seen whether any of them will respond.
