Subham, the first production from actress Samantha, is back in the news. The horror comedy was released in theaters on May 9, 2025.
It stars Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, and Shalini Kondepudi. Samantha also appears in a short but sweet cameo that fans liked.

Despite that, Subham managed to make profits. Sources say Samantha earned well through theatrical collections, OTT rights, and other deals.
Now, Subham is set to release on OTT. Jio Hotstar has confirmed that the film will start streaming on June 13, 2025. For now, it will be available in Telugu only.
Many believe the film will do better on OTT. Its light and emotional storytelling could appeal more to home viewers than theatergoers. Since the story is based on a TV serial, the film is expected to connect with a section of the family audience, especially women.
