After the unbelievable success of “Munjya”, the makers are overwhelmed and are ready to launch another horror movie directed by the same man who helmed “Munjya”. This movie, unlike the first one, will be a direct OTT release but promises to deliver the same thrill and entertainment.
Titled “Kakuda”, the movie focuses on a different issue. This time, the threat is on men. As the poster suggests, it’s a freakishly spooky comedy, so those expecting a proper horror element might be disappointed.
The movie features Sonakshi Sinha, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Saqib Saleem in the lead roles. All three actors are going through a slump in their careers and are in desperate need of a hit. With this movie being directly released on OTT, only better reviews can save it.
The poster shows the trio going through a dungeon with torches, looking for something. Just behind their backs, a shabby-headed ghost-like figure, which might be “Kakuda”, is hovering. Like “Munjya”, which was based on folktales of Maharashtra, this movie might also draw from folklore.
