With the massive success of Gen V in terms of viewership and the progression of the storyline, The Boys universe is now hotter than ever. And as they say, ‘strike while the iron is hot,’ Prime Video made a short announcement regarding its release.
Prime Video, on their Twitter account, posted a bunch of posters, giving fans a small peek about what’s coming.
In Homelander’s side of events, he is seen backing the vice presidential candidate Victoria Neuman and her running-mate presidential candidate Robert Singer. Now, in his poster, Homelander stands tall and victorious, surrounded by confetti.
And in Butcher’s side of events, it’s not all good and colorful as he is seen standing alone, with a floor covered in confetti and balloons, showing a symbol of defeat.
As the psiter states, it is probably the Homelander-backed Victoria and Robert who will be on the winning side, as Butcher reluctantly admits the defeat.
With that, Prime Video also announced the release window, as the posters read that it will be released in 2024. The bet might be on the earlier phase as it will also be influenced by the ongoing events in Gen V.
The filming was already done before the strike even began, which will help them to get earlier releases. Also, they can capitalize on the lack of upcoming content, making a popular show even more popular.
