The series has been making a lot of buzz due to the much-hyped intimate scenes between Bhumi and Ishaan who will be sharing the screen space for the first time.
Bhumi, who is known for some stellar performances in films like Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Badhaai Do, has talked about the same during the promotions of the series.

While the audience is excited about getting to watch yet another desi Netflix drama, a few are concerned about the plotline again.
Doesn’t it remind us of Sonam Kapoor’s Khoobsurat and other classic rich-meets-middle-class love stories we’ve seen before, just with a modern, bolder twist?
Moreover, another TV series, Kull: The Legacy of the Raisingghs, featuring a royal family’s story, was released some time back but did not get much response from the audience.
Now, with yet another rom-com releasing on the same grounds, it is yet to be seen whether it is accepted by the viewers.
Notably, Netflix has been creating hype for its Indian content over the years on different occasions. However, the content has always been bad and underwhelming in most of the cases.
Let’s wait and see if The Royals would leave a positive impression or it would turn out to be another disaster show for Netflix.
