Vash Level 2 began streaming on Netflix on October 22, along with its Hindi version titled Vash Vivash Level 2. Soon after the OTT release, viewers started sharing their reactions online. The film has created strong discussion on social media.
Many reviews suggest that the climax is decent, but the second half is not as engaging as the first. Some viewers also felt the antagonist seems less powerful in the Hindi dubbed version compared to the original.
The deal has turned out to be a major win for Netflix. For the first time, a Gujarati film reached such mainstream popularity on the platform. Netflix reportedly paid 3.5 crore rupees for the rights, marking the highest price ever for a Gujarati film on OTT.
Fans believe the success of Vash and the popularity of Shaitaan, which is a Hindi remake of Vash, helped increase demand for this genre on digital platforms. The film will stream only on Netflix for one year. After that, it may release on other OTT services.
