SonyLIV is one of the premiere apps for live streaming and entertainment but it seems that people are not enjoying the experience the app has had on display in the past few weeks.
Users called out the streaming platform for its frequent app glitches and crashes, calling the app an embarrassment. Many also claimed that the application does not even start despite having a good internet connection.

“This is so embarrassing as an Indian,” said one user regarding the state of the application. Another user stated that the app kept crashing on their device despite repeatedly reinstalling it. “Get a better team to redesign it,” wrote another user, showcasing the app’s errors.

A user was struggling with the application on his Smart TV hence disrupting his viewing experience. He bashed the streaming platform stating “Try to learn from Netflix”.

While the users are frustrated with the repetitive errors and glitches, the streaming platform hasn’t responded to these queries yet. Various issues including frequent crashes, volume bursts, bad UI, and app freezes have made the users furious.

Many users also complained about the ads that occur between shows despite having subscriptions. As users flood the internet with issues and lags they face, it remains to be seen when SonyLIV notices such glitches and works on them to provide a smooth and optimum viewing experience.
