Tillu Square, the sequel to super hit comedy caper DJ Tillu has hit the theaters today amidst a box office vacuum that had emerged due to the lack of big hits in recent weeks. The sequel advantage and existing vacuum are expected to help the film at the box office.
Coming to the OTT side of things, Tillu Square has sealed Netflix as its official OTT streaming partner and it will be made available for streaming on the platform at least 4 weeks after its theatrical debut.
While DJ Tillu is streaming on Aha Video, the sequel has now gone to Netflix. Considering the kind of reception DJ Tillu got on Aha, the OTT prospects for the sequel on Netflix should be pretty good.
Tillu Square is another madcap comedy entertainer and it comes with a natural advantage of character-based hype for the Tillu character. Usually, such fun entertainers enjoy good patronage on OTT.
